The most recent update to the PMP exam was in January 2021, when PMI introduced the PMP exam based on the PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition. This update brought significant changes to the exam content and format, emphasizing new domains and skills that project managers should possess to meet the demands of today’s projects.

It’s possible that PMI may release future versions of the PMP certification, but as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the latest version is based on the PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition.

For the most up-to-date and accurate information on the PMP certification and any potential updates, I recommend visiting the official PMI website or contacting PMI directly. Keep in mind that developments and changes might have occurred after my last update.
